Stormcrow

This 2022 Pinot Noir was born from the marine sedimentary slopes of the Van Duzer Corridor AVA where old vines lean with the hard coastal winds as they howl inward every evening throughout the summer. The wine, born from wild fermentation, is elegant and bright, with a pale complexion and gentle tannins, yet explosive aromatics and flavor. It exudes dark fruit such as blackberry and cassis while dancing with dark spice like crows circling in a brilliant sky. Its poignant acidity ensures great aging potential although it is drinking beautifully now. The wine spent 12 months in French Oak, 25% of which were new barrels.
