Storytellers
The story of a good wine is told physically. It’s spoken when the lights are flicked on in the chilly barrel cellar, just as it’s told by the hand of a lover, pouring a glass from across the table. A good wine tells the story of each day that ripened the grapes and every year that grew the vines; it whispers about its connection to the earth and the aeons that brought these rocks exactly here. The tale of nature is told through wine: this is how we’ve chosen to write our stories down.
Satyr : Dryad
A Satyr is a Dryad – as stewards of the land, we are one with nature. We are playful, impassioned creatures, inspired by the wonders of the earth. Not all satyrs are winemakers, but we are. For us, the craft of winemaking begins with a quiet, solitary moment in the winery: a private conversation between the satyr and the wine in his glass.
