Caged Sun

To make sparkling wine was a calling. Caged Sun is our first-ever traditional method sparkling wine, made 100% from Riesling. The base wine aged for 6 months in neutral French oak and was bottled for tirage in June of 2024. It aged en tirage for 20 months and was disgorged in the spring of 2026. The effortless, soft and creamy bubbles contrast the piercing nature of dry Riesling, creating a silken texture with flashes of yellow flower and citrus threaded among notes of honey cream. This wine continues to exploit the diversity of the Riesling grape and will be known as the first in a lineage of Méthod Champenoise from Satyr Fire.
